Assalamu Alaikum, Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan,
My heartfelt condolences to you and your entire family on the passing of your beloved wife, Khadijah Farrakhan.
Seventy-two years of marriage, beginning in 1953, is a beautiful testament to faith, commitment, love, and perseverance. Sister Khadijah was an extraordinary example of what it means to be a devoted Muslim woman — a loving wife, a nurturing mother, and a woman of grace, wisdom, and excellence. Whether through her cooking, sewing, caring for her family, or her unwavering dedication to Islam, she inspired generations by the quiet strength of her example.
As a student of the Clara Muhammad Schools, I will always remember Sister Khadijah’s visits. She had a remarkable way of making every student feel that there was nothing we could not accomplish with faith, discipline, and belief in ourselves. Her presence left a lasting impression on my life, and I will forever cherish those memories.
My father, Jeff Fort, and I, Latonya Fort, extend our deepest and most sincere condolences to you and the entire Farrakhan family. We pray that Allah (SWT) grants Sister Khadijah the highest place in Jannah, surrounds your family with patience and comfort, and rewards her abundantly for a life dedicated to her faith, her husband, her children, and her community.
May Allah bless and strengthen you during this time of sorrow, and may Sister Khadijah’s legacy continue to inspire generations to come.
With our deepest sympathy, love, and prayers,
Latonya Fort
and my father, Jeff Fort.
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
