The Function 2O2O

It's about that time of year

Come out to The Function 2020 to celebrate another year of reshaping the narrative of Black Chicago with The TRiiBE.

Join us for a night of honoring Black Ensemble Theater founder Jackie Taylor and VAM Studio founder Vincent Martell with our inaugural Archetype Awards. These two creative giants are making a lasting positive impact on the communities they serve, and we’re thrilled to celebrate their work.

Alongside delicious food and beverages, honoree speeches, performances, presentations, a silent auction and more, The Function 2020 will showcase a glimpse of what’s ahead for The TRiiBE and ways for supporters to get involved.

So with that being said, we have one question for you — you’re coming, right?

The Archetype Award

The TRiiBE’s Archetype Awards are given to individuals who serve as guiding forces in Chicago. Through their advocacy, activism and dedication to excellence, our honorees have become voices for the many marginalized communities who are often left out of Chicago’s story. The Archetype Award winners are making a lasting positive impact and have emerged as leaders of their own tribes.
