I remember being a teenager in Chicago in the 2000s. Hanging out with my friends was a top priority on the weekends. One of our spots was North Riverside Mall. We didn’t have Snapchat or Instagram to broadcast our meetups, but we did have cell phones. We’d call each other and set a time to meet at the mall.
