The Managing Editor is a senior leadership role within The TRiiBE newsroom. The Managing Editor’s primary responsibility will include executing The TRiiBE’s editorial mission, supporting newsroom editors and reporters, and working collaboratively across the newsroom with editorial, social and web teams to conceive and produce high-quality civic and explanatory journalism that speaks to our Black Chicago audience.

They will have experience in editing, writing clean copy and meeting deadlines in a newsroom environment. This is a FULL-TIME position (40 hours per week) with benefits (unlimited PTO & company holidays; dental, health and vision insurance, etc).
