Chicago rapper Lil Reese was reportedly injured this morning during a shooting inside of a parking garage in the River North neighborhood near downtown Chicago.
According to a Chicago Police Department (CPD) spokesperson, the shooting occurred in the 0-100 block of West Grand Avenue around 9:50 a.m. on Saturday.
Upon arrival, officers found three victims ages 20, 27 and 28.
Police say the 20-year-old man was shot twice in the knee and transported to Stroger Hospital in good condition. The 27-year-old man was shot multiple times and transported to Northwestern Hospital in critical condition. And the 28-year-old man suffered a graze wound to the thigh and was transported to Northwestern Hospital in fair condition.
“There are no offenders in custody at this time,” a CPD spokesperson said via email. An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
Police did not confirm that Lil Reese, who is 28 years old, was a victim in the shooting. But other media outlets, including Complex and TMZ, are reporting that Lil Reese was one of the victims.
Lil Reese, born Tavares Lamont Taylor, survived being shot in the neck back in 2019.
