LIGHT is an ongoing series addressing the stigma I grew up with that dark skin girls were “too dark” to wear bright colors. Using fashion and identity, I shoot on location and in studio to portray a counter narrative and combat negative thinking. The Light Project combines vibrant patterns and colors on dark skin models.
